Production optimisation

We have many years’ experience in designing and engineering effective production solutions, we support our customer by performing analysis and optimisation of existing production methods, workflows and identify bottlenecks. By measuring sources and frequency of downtime and the consequences of downtime and the effort required to recover production, we suggest improvements to increase production uptime, commonly 20% of the faults cause 80% of the downtime. Eliminating these specific faults can substantially increase production uptime and capacity, reduce scrap and overall production costs.

Prior to an investment in production equipment, we can support with balancing of workflows and calculation of cycle times. Often performing an analysis of production KPI’s and requirements, creates a much better basis for improvements and can also reduce the overall investment.

We can also implement manufacturing information systems with visualisation of production metrics such as takt time, downtime, yield, etc.
